Your Personal Stash of Manga.

Post by Yami Haga-Ryuzaki »

By last count; I have accumulated 120+ Manga over the past three years. That's about 30 for every birthday and Christmas.
So you know, Manga here in Australia costs $10-$20 a pop. So, $15X120...?
You do the math. I can't bear to think of what I've spent! xDD

My family continues to think I'm totally nuts for having a collection that's outgrown my bookshelf - even though I claim there are people out there with much more Manga than I have.

How much manga do you have?
If you don't buy it; how much do you 'estimate' that you've downloaded?

(feel free to list the titles if you can be bothered!~)

All my manga is digital. I collect scanlated manga since I'm always moving around so I can't take the manga with me (though I do have quite a few volumes).

Everyday my collection grows 2 or 3 volumes bigger and I know have 22 complete collections (so that makes around over 2000 volumes since some are really huge) and 50 collections still growing.

Great, this means I really do have too much manga xDD No one tell my family!

I have 120+ volumes in my home (I lost count last birthday) and I've downloaded every One Piece volume onto my computer; since I can't find all of the volumes here - and I only buy manga in chronological order.
(I'll buy Volume 1, then 2, 3, 4... I never skip ahead)

I have volume one of Bleach; and that's it. I want to get some more - but I'm focusing more on finishing my older series xDD Like Chobits and *Sigh* Yu-Gi-Oh!.
Which'll take me forever...

well, that's weird. I was so sure that I posted here yesterday, but there's no post... XD
I have 36 volumes of Fushigi Yuugi, 22 of FMA, 3 of Death Note, 3 of Vampire Knight, 1 of Zettai Kareshi, 1 of Chobits, about 30 of InuYasha, 1 of Rayearth, 6 of Karekano and 2 of xxxHolic.

Now I'm buying only FMA and sometimes Vampire Knight. And I've been reading manga online recently.

I hate it when posts don't come up, however rare it is.
Here are the titles I have in Alphabetical order, and yes I'm fully aware most of them say '1 volume' - because I like to buy the first one as soon as I find it, and collect the rest when I can. It's harder for me to snare the first volume than it is to find the rest.
Prepare for a LONG, pointless list;

.hack; Legend of the Twilight Bracelett - 3 volumes [Finished]
A little Snow Fairy Sugar - 3 volumes [Finished]
Absolute Boyfriend - 3 volumes
Aoi House - 3 volumes
Avril Lavigne's Make 5 Wishes - 1 volume
Beyond the Beyond - 1 volume
Bleach - 1 volume
Comic Party; Party Time! - 1 volume
Chobits - 6 volumes
Chrno Crusade - 8 volumes [Finished]
DearS - 3 volumes
Desert Coral - 1 volume
Devil Princess - 1 volume
DramaCon - 2 volumes
Elemental Gelade - 1 volume
Flower of Deep Sleep - 1 volume
Fool's Gold - 2 volumes
Full Metal Alchemist - 7 volumes
Gatcha Gatcha - 1 volume
Guru Guru Pon-Chan - 1 volume
Hanami; International Love Story - 1 volume
Hayate the Combat Butler - 1 volume
Heaven - 1 volume
InuYasha - 1 volume
Kage Tora - 1 volume
KashiMashi - 1 volume
Kingdom Hearts - 2 volumes
Leave it to Piyoko! - 1 volume
Loveless - 3 volumes
Love for Venus - 2 volumes
Love Hina - 7 volumes
MagicalXMiracle - 1 volume
Mahoromatic - 1 volume
Mamotte! Lollipop - 1 volume
Midori Days - 8 volumes [Finished]
Missing; Kamikakushi no Monogatori - 1 volume
Nosatsu Junkie - 1 volume
One Piece - 1 volume
Ouran High School Host Club - 10 volumes
Peach Fuzz - 1 volume
Peach Girl; Sae's Story - 1 volume
Pichi Pichi Pitch - 1 volume
Pixie POP - 1 volume
Pretty Face - 1 volume
Q-ko Chan - 1 volume
R.O.D; Read or Dream - 1 volume
RahXephon - 3 volumes [Finished]
Re:Play - 1 volume
Rhysmyth - 1 volume
Rozen Maiden - 4 volumes
Saber Marionette J - 5 volumes [Finished]
Satisfaction Guaranteed - 1 volume
Sgt Frog - 4 volumes
Shugo Chara! - 1 volume
Shakugan no Shana - 1 volume
Soul Rescue - 2 volume
Steady Beat - 1 volume
World Embryo - 1 volume
X - 1 volume
Yu-Gi-Oh!; Duelist - 3 volumes
Yubisaki Milk Tea - 1 volume

...
I tried counting them; but I kept losing count. I think I have 133 - I'm not quite sure now... xDD It's over a hundred though; I'm sure.

Surprisingly though; I can say with complete honesty I love all of these. Though I did enjoy some less than others. (RahXephon bored the heck of me in some parts) and others grossed me out a little, (Yubisaki Milk Tea is rated 18+ for a reason! Dx) I still love all of them, and their characters. =D

...

Saber Marionette J was my first manga by the way... xP

I once went on an aeroplane with a suitcase full of them last year since I was living in Tasmania and I couldn't bear to part with them - and sadly on the return trip; because it was just me - I had to pay $200 for the excess weight they caused.

Traveling by car is no problem though x3 It takes at least four trips to carry them by hand though. xDD
