Yami, you spelled 'trilogy' correctly.

Has anyone read 'A Wrinkle in Time'? It was one of the very first breakthrough fantasy novels in America.

Both are very good, but the book is sooo much better!
And the movie is a little bit different of the book...

Now I wonder if they will do the other movies of The Golden Compass...

I'd rate this movie over 10. I wish I had the book.

No movie could ever compare with the amazingness that is Phillip Pullman's The Golden Compass,The Suble Knife, and The Amber Spyglass. It is impossible because they are 9's on the out of 10 scale.

I am addicted to fantasy books. Has anyone in this thread read the DragonLance books? =P~ They are sexiness reincarnated in book form.

How can you not like reading fantasy still? I'm going to be force-feeding my children fantasy books and reading them all through college.

Especially R.A. Salvatore I hope?

Childhood age? Bah I'm going to be 30 and still prefer fantasy novels...

I don't think I've ever read anything by Salvatore...I'm thinking something more child friendly. Tamora Pierce maybe...

If you know Drizzt you've seen Salvatore's work already... He also wrote a Star Wars novel, but his Demon Wars series is gold....
