Is anyone else super excited for this game? Admittedly I won't be playing it for a long time after it comes out, the whole lack of a PS3 but....
From the makers of Shadow of the Colossus and Ico, how can it be bad? Both those games were really just.. Interactive art. So emotionally charged in such an understated way. I imagine that's how Guardian will be too. I don't know why Sony didn't put more of an emphasis on it at E3, but I suppose it would ruin it a bit.
So yeah, excited anyone?

Re: Guardian
My brother told me about this.
If it's the same people who did Shadow and Ico, I can guarantee it will recieve very high critical acclaim, have elements never really explored before that are quite forward thinking. And boring. As in, it will REALLY drive you to tears boring.
Luckily, if it is PS3 only, I won't have to suffer spending nearly 50 of my hard earned British pounds in a title that won't entertain me.
I've just read the gameplay brief on Wiki, and I fear that once again, I am right. Using the creature and gaining its trust to beat the game: Forward and Original. WIll it be as dull as I predict? Watch this space...

Re: Guardian
I didn't find Shadow of Ico boring. At parts it could be dull, but it did pick up. I found it refreshing the take they took on gameplay and plot, it played more with emotion than anything. And not that stupid FF emotion bullshit, either, it left how to feel to the player. It wasn't so black and white.

It just bored me. Shadow more than Ico. But, my style of gaming requires more than a bloody damsel-in-distress scenario.
