If we are going to get all gung ho about protecting the institution of marriage I think we should cancel The Bachelor and pretty much all reality TV, and make a law that divorce is illegal. There should also be a ban on any chapels in vegas or getting married by anyone who looks or acts like Elvis. Just sayin'

It's not like marriage is some sacred heterosexual ritual that has been revered and repected thorough out the ages. It's essentially been a system of buying and selling women like cattle to clean up and do household tasks and pop out babies like easy bake ovens.

Before heterosexuals start trying to tell homosexuals what to do with the sancity of marriage, they should see if they can get it right.

If you truly believe that homosexuality is "evil" and what not then you would know with certainty that god would not be looking at the wedding proceedings. Two people who love each other would exchange rings and cut cake and have legal rights, but it would have no real heavenly value.

i think its everyones personal choice what his or her sexual preferences are. however, one should neither openly advertise them nor get any advantages out of belonging to any particular group. both of which is kinda being done rather blatantly by the G&L community in recent years.
