Full Moon's Dance

Post by KawaiiGirl104 »

So I was reading a book called Beautiful Creatures and it kind of gave me an idea of making a story that's kind of mysterious and takes place in Japan. I just cannot make that good of English names as you will see. Well, here's the start of it. I'll post updates as often as I can!

Full Moon's Dance

Some say that all love is decided by our God. That is true; but to some extent. There are other forces of “gravitation,” if you should call it that, that can pull two people together. These very forces may not be the kind that we enjoy to the fullest extent. But they are the ones that exist without our knowing, the exact same as our God.
They do not have places of worship. In fact, homes are the best example for their places of hatred. Parents, children, and even those caught in the midst of it do not respect this force. The few people, and there are less than thirty, who do respect this force end up in a place they do not belong. That place is not needed to be named at this point in time.
However, the force should be named. If you dare to keep on reading, then you are invited. But many people shudder at this name. As said before, very few people love this name to the ends of the Earth. It is one of the best things – yet deadliest – in our known universe. Well, if you were to ask a scientist, they would most likely deny this thought. But that is not the point at this moment.
The name of this force is “destiny.”

One moon to the second
Horror is brought upon you
Second moon to the third
Death will fall upon you

These words followed him wherever he went. The poem was called Full Moon’s Dance and it “haunted” him. Ever since he read it three years ago in some book that was lost the day after it was read, it never left his mind. The words replayed themselves in his head. He tried his best to force them away but it was no use. They did not leave the one that they had been searching for.

Third moon to the fourth
Dance around you, a ribbon will
Fourth moon the fifth
Dance around you, a love will

He always told himself it was a figment of his imagination. He always told himself that it never existed in the first place. But he remembered like it had been one day earlier. The book cover, every word, the beat he read it at: every aspect of it. Not one part of it could escape.
That was because it did not want to.

Fifth moon to the sixth
Destiny calls you to it
Sixth moon to the seventh
Fate calls you to it
Seventh moon to the eighth
Love shall be brought to you
Eighth moon to the ninth
Hatred shall be brought to you
Ninth moon to the last
You shall not survive the Fated
Full Moon’s Dance

Little did the boy know that this was his prophecy. That is why the book he read it in disappeared after he read it. He had always been right: it did not exist to begin with. Everything in it was sent to him by Destiny. It was only on his tenth birthday that he was allowed to read it.
For if he had not, he would not be alive to this day.

His name was Daichi Kirui. He was only fifteen when Full Moon’s Dance started to return to his memory. He had no one to talk to about his troubles: he lived at his school. Both of his parents died on his tenth birthday the second he finished reading Full Moon’s Dance. His brother did not want anything to do with him anymore.
Who could blame him?
On every single birthday since he was ten somebody died. It was strange but also true. Nobody, not even his teachers, wanted anything to do with him. Every time he spoke it seemed like anybody who heard him speak was cursed to death. He was passing every class because the teachers did not want to die by giving him a bad grade. He was a, as they called it, “a curse put upon the high school’s ground that they stood on.”
Who could blame them?
Daichi did not wish for this to happen to him. He always wanted a regular life, nothing strange or “out-of-bounds” about it. But from the moment he was born, he was destined to have a life like the ones he only read about in books. He hated himself tremendously because of how he let himself be treated. He hated that he had not had any friends since his parents died.
Who could blame him?
It was only when he met her that his life seemed to turn around. She walked in a like a storm through those halls. Her hair flowed in the wind with no wind blowing. Well, that is how it was with Daichi. Any other boy despised her looks; and anything else about her. Even though she was an exchange student from America, she looked as though she had been living in Japan her entire life. And they had both completely and inevitably fallen for each other.
Who could fight them?

He heard it: the sound of a whistle. But it was no ordinary whistle. The tuning of it was a bit deeper than other whistles. It seemed to be scarier or closer to death than others. It seemed like it was right next to his ear but it was miles away; too far for anybody else to tell.
In fact, it was across waters. The whistle he was hearing was being played by Luna Midorikawa in America. She was not who she seemed, however. Everybody saw her as the weakest and quietest girl in their school. But, as the saying goes, do not judge a book by its cover. That can go for the good, the bad, and the unknown.
Luna was going to transfer to Najika High School because her mother married a man from Tokyo. She did not want to transfer from her current high school: she would be at the bottom of the chain this time. But she went along with things. Since she was the quietest person at her current school, she knew that she would not make friends at Najika. Luna was not confident about this school.
All she had was her whistle. She had been learning to play it on her own for ten years now. Her “mother” was never there to help her. Playing her whistle gave her comfort and let her escape into her own world. Nobody liked her for her entire life. Not one person paid attention to her.
Not one person heard her beautiful music.
That is, until Daichi listened with his heart wide open.
It was the most amazing thing that he had ever heard. It soothed his aching heart, seeming to close any wounds it had. Daichi did not know where the music was coming from in the least. The only thing he saw was a beautiful girl playing the whistle. Her white dress flowed in a wind that was not blowing.
Daichi had not fallen in love with Luna. He did not even know who she actually was. He had only fallen in love with the soothing sound from Luna’s whistle. It never seemed like he could fall in love, taking into consideration what happened to his parents five years ago. Taking into consideration the poem entitled Full Moon’s Dance
Taking into consideration the fact that everybody thought he was a curse.
It was a hard life for Daichi. His name meant “earth” but everybody thought it should be Jigoku, or “hell.” When he walked down the halls not one girl looked at him. It was not as if he wanted any of them to look at him anyways. He did not think one girl at Najika was cute in the least. It was easy to believe, too. All of them were, quoting Daichi, “Stupid sluts that should go back to their American street corner.”
His only friend that he ever had was Yuki Tsukire. Just as quickly as their friendship began, however, it was soon being lost to the “sluts” of Najika. They were reeling him in as if he were a fish on a line. Daichi did not care. He thought that friends were just something that held you back in life. Others thought differently.
Others thought that Daichi was holding himself back. In ways, that was true. But in others, it was a lie. The only thing holding him back is his lack of support. At least, that is what he thought. What anybody else thought was that Daichi could not let go of his parents dying just five years before the present. As said before, that is true in some ways. But it is not the only truth.
There is never just one truth. There are always many.

The day that Daichi heard the whistle was the day that he heard a new American transfer student was coming. She was a fifteen year old girl named Luna Midorikawa who was enrolled in the writing portion of Najika. She was the same as Daichi in that way. But the rest of her was completely different from any other girl at the high school. According to Yuki, she never did anything the girls at Najika did.
Luna never wore make-up but always seemed like she did. Her clothes were very strange, even for a girl from America. She always wore a skirt and long-sleeved shirt, no matter what time of the year it happened to be. The clothes’ patterns or colors were never strange but just the way she wore them. Her shoes were different too: always sneakers. The socks that she wore with them were never shorter or taller than knee-high, which was another strange thing.
Now, every girl at Najika always wore their school uniforms when school was in session. But after school ended and they were sent back to their rooms every single one put on either very shorts pants or a small skirt. Their shirt either ended at their belly button or they did not wear one. It is easy to see why Daichi called them “sluts.” It was a very fitting term for them.
Boys always wore their uniforms during school, just as the girls. But after school they put on regular jeans, a T-shirt, jacket, and sometimes even a hat. They would almost always go over to a girls’ room and stay with them until curfew. Even then, when it came to inspection, there was at least ten boys missing from their rooms. It has been like that ever since the Kitazawa’s came into everything.
But, the Kitazawa’s shall be explained a bit later. For now, Daichi and Luna are the main focus of this story. The day that Luna came was the day that everybody’s life changed. All of the girls laughed at the “poor thing.” Boys from every portion of the school were gathering to see her but were greatly disappointed when they saw her. She was signing into the office, and she was not too keen on leaving it either.
Daichi appeared from the crowed of boys. He did not want to see Luna in the least. But when his eyes glanced over to the office he saw her. He knew that it was her. He knew that it was her from the second he saw her hair. It was the beautiful girl.
It was the beautiful girl who was playing the music.
He ran into the office to see if it was really her. Daichi was almost positive it was. But he had made mistakes before. He thought that Full Moon’s Dance existed. He thought that his parents lived forever. He thought a lot of things that were not true. This was not one of those times.

Tell me how it was!!!! Please?

It means too long; didn't read.
Decisions to decisions are made and not bought, but I thought this wouldn't hurt a lot. I guess not.
