Our Generation

One day to come
One mor elife left without fun
Hanging out with your friends
Wondering what message this generation sends
Sipping oyur beer

Slurring your vioce
Puching eachother without any fear
This was all made by choice

Potheads are the majority
Parents dont stop it
Now a days they have no authority
If they try, their kids put up a fit

You reach for car keys
Rev the engine
Hoping everyone sees
Our integrity will eventually give in

You all drive to the party
Only a bit drunk
There's no way now to feel saftey.

Inhaling my sanity


Inhaling clouds exhaling my life as I knew it.
The shock and terror of it made me think I was awake.
Not seeing but want what was unsafe.
My sanity has expired
The second could of dust
Made me feel like doing drugs was a must
Expressions of a new weapon
This drug was leaving me the wrong impression
Overrated as it may seem
But doing drugs was the new me
This wasn’t happening again
Hopefully it was my last time
My brain is too fried to even rhyme.
Not knowing what comes next.
Snorting again would just be so fun
Like driving a car I had just won
As warped as it may seem.
I finally saw my life in a clear image
So I grabbed another bowl, picked up that blunt and gave a bong a new home
Of all the people, why did it have to me?
Pocketing some vike
Grabbing a valium or two
Happiness was what I needed
As it meant nothing to you
I willfully drank another beer
Felt as though I was playing your part of the show
I began to feel my greatest need
A pull or drag of some of that weed
I was trying to get you off my mind
But having you call me jealously, hearing a guy or a few
Made me realize how much I don’t need you
I’m only human, and I f***ed up a few too many times
Sadly my worst was ever being with you
A simple breath, a new slate for a new day
Made me part my old ways
Down the drain went my beer
In the fire went my one desire
Without alcohol, drugs and you
I’m left alone to my notebook
Unleashing my passion of high school
Wanting one last puff but now I don’t want to be like you.
A down right f***ing fool

I'm am offended by this entire thread! I am a habitable drug/alcohol user and I get by just fine. It's common for non drug users/non-alcoholics to look down on us. Shame on you. I'm still a person. How dare all of you judge me. I'm a respectable member of society. I help people by peeing in public, spitting on children and dancing nude in the rain. I'm an American, and damn proud of it!
