Dragon Ball Z Kai

I saw the ads on cable so I recorded it on my DVR. When I watched it I was confused because it was the same as Dragon Ball Z.

For those who haven't seen Dragon Ball Z I'll use a spoiler.

They started it off with Raditz coming and now Goku just came back to life and is heading towards Nappa, Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin on his Nimbus.

I'm kind of confused because it has the same episodes as Dragon Ball Z. Why is it called Kai if it's the same?

Can someone illuminate?
Now that I've settled down a bit, got knowledge of the land and have a routine set up I can finally get back to doing what I wanna do most... Can someone tell me what that is?

My friend thinks they redrew the cartoons.... but I'm not really sure...
Now that I've settled down a bit, got knowledge of the land and have a routine set up I can finally get back to doing what I wanna do most... Can someone tell me what that is?

Its just a remake.

Think of it as the digitally remastered DBZ. Because that's pretty much all it is. They rerecorded a lot of the voice overs, they touched up the animation a bit with digital technology.

Other than that, nothing has changed. The story and plot is exactly the same.

I really miss out to watch the Dragon Ball Z Kaii, I can't say that its looks like Dragon Ball Z, i really positive review regarding the Dragon Ball Z Kai,can't wait to see.
