This is DEFINITELY a film i think has to be watched in blue ray with proper setup for full experience. I still hate blu-ray mind you, but this movie needs it lol.

and.. it sorta does have some resemblances plot-wise to ferngully..

Funnily enough, before the movie went to theaters, and shortly after it was being made, the writer said in an interview that it was an idea that his daughter had started, and he wrote the story for. Maybe his daughter watched ferngully, and he adapted it and made it even more awesome.
He also had the script in a drawer for years, until the technology was around that was needed for said film..

your friend makes me want to watch furngully, then watch avatar..

It's fantastic to be able to see this incredible film once again, but I am disappointed that there are no special features at all in this set. Had there been any, we would have had a definite winner here! A real opportunity missed!

In the movie Avatar jake sully, a paraplegic marine who replaced his brother on a secret mission to the infiltrated script, which beings a Pandora's planet, where there sitting on a precious ores that sells a ridiculous amount of colony . When Jake, the way his emotions and learnings will be putting her in danger and dangerous people he trusts learns. Over all the movie just different than other and good to see. The mixed combination of the sci-fi and the action.

LOTR = Industrialism&expansion (Little people + jewelery)

Avatar = Industrialism&expansion (Smurfs + Pocahontas)

(Smurfs + Pocahontas) = (Little people + jewelery).....?

Avatar =/= LOTR

Edit: Smurfs are in fact, little magical beings... but my point stands.

Avatar was alright, but highly overrated. It's basically like twilight for environmentalist.
Yeah, you were right about me, but can I get myself out from underneath this guilt that will crush me? in the choir, I saw our sad Messiah he was bored and tired of my laments

I have watched "Avatar" and it is one of the greatest movie in 3D world. It has amazing concept specially Pendora. I liked everything from it. James Cameron did good job and I am really impressed with that.
