Your Favorite Genre

Kay.. this is self explanatory. Which genre is your favorite, and if you want, state why.

Well. I can't pick a favorite genre now. My tastes have expanded to many different ones, and I love a lot of them.

Also I deleted the poll since some options werent covered. And I didnt make it, It was from when it was merged.

If you had to make me pick, I am stressing the ‘had’ to because music is just an amazing medium without categorizing.

If I had to choose - Stoner Rock/Metal 8)

I don't think it should be stickied. But my favorite genre as of right now is grunge.

It's stickied so people quit making the threads about certain genres, they can just post here

Metal....Plain and simple. Follow that up with good ol Rock. (add in some Misfits and Blink 182 and I'm a happy old person....)

I listen to Reggaetón and Rock the most. 8)

Reggaetón because it's from where I live, the beats are cool, the songs are cool and a lot of the rappers are cool.

Rock because Ive been listening to bands from all era's since I was a kid. :mrgreen:

I can't deny it. My favorite genre is dance. That's a blanket term for old-school dance, trance, techno, DDR stuff, etc.

I love something in every genre, though. Usually it was friends or family turning me on to music (mom raised me on heavy metal & classic rock, grandparents brainwashed me with soft rock & oldies, friends opened me up to country, etc).

But dance music makes me inexplicably happy.
