I like the breakdown of the sub genres of metal. We all know Scandinavian Metal is the hardest. Makes Grindcore look like a boyband xD

Even though I like (by that I mean love) metal - its just not as crazy as noise rock...like Melt Banana and lightning Bolt.

Noise rock does not ring a bell, which intrigues me since I seem to like all things obscure. I do remember a post awhile back on Melt Banana but I didnt get to check it out. Might have to do that.

We all know that the only metal band that really matters is All That Remains. GREAT drummer, great guitarists...and hell, great frontman too.

That post you are refering to was mine. I saw melt banana last night and it was the single most insane gig I have been to.

Look up some noise rock. Melt banana just happen to be gods at it.
