Deathcab are acceptable in terms of sound, but I find the lyrics god awful. Refer to "I will Possess Your Heart" and "Someday You Will Be Loved." Even if they do come up with better music somewhere down the road, I can't shake off the disgust of their indulgent song writing.

Postal Service are just..meh. My favorite song of theirs is written and done better by Iron and Wine (Such Great Heights). The rest of it just sounds like half baked Rilo Kiley ideas, only with no Jenny Lewis to distract from their inadequacies.

Owl City is like if a 4 year old took barbiturates while listening to Deathcab, and then someone took that musical concept and sanitized it and distributed it to a mainstream audience. Hell, even I can tap some keys on a keyboard and synth my voice.

I see deathcabs lyrics part of the charm.. but i'm effed in the head so YEAH!
