Can anyone explain for me that he/she-thing people are talking about? I have watched the whole anime (I think so, at least) and I'm rather sure that one is a guy, but my friend says Akito is a girl. Can't sort this out, help?

Well, He is really a girl. But in the beginning he is a guy, then somehow he turns up to be female.

wow. this poor thread. i'm the first view AND reply. diddums. i like AKito. i usually support the Antagonist. he's not cruel for no reason. everyone says so, but they are n00bensteins who dont read the manga ^^ i am readin the manga (waiting for cash to get books 11-13) and have seen the anime twice. once in engs and once in jap, and i can tell you from an experienced point of view, that Akito has reasons and motives for his actions. but, the "Haters" are too useless to realise that. they would be in a similar mind set if they were in Akito's shoes.

i understand why he's mean but that still gives him no right to hurt other people i mean i get in trouble for defending myself and here this guy is going around destroying peoples lives i hate akito with all the fiber of my being

Yeah, he does have reasons but I'm sure they don't weigh too much to let him hurt other people and destroy their lives.....Well, I can sympathize with him a little bit, all those pressure from the curse and him dying early.....He really is just a sad character all in all....

Sorry, I don't like him at all. I'm not sure if I hate him, but he has no right to treat his family members like stress balls.

i think yuki kyo and haru should team up and kill him
