I haven't read the manga. I have seen the anime though, and he seems pretty much like a guy to me..

I really do think he is a she... They show that eventually in the manga and there is a whole plot twist that Akito's mother raised her to be a boy... (a female head of the family? It cannot be!)

Yes! He really is a girl! They reveal it in ch 97 or 98, I forgot which. But anyways I'm 100% sure he's a girl.

ya i read it somewhere and it does reveal that Akito is really a girl and was raised as a boy i forget where i read it though
