it looks like its a person with a costume under his torso. because if it was real:
1: they whound keep it conceled, not lying around.
2: they whould take more indepth pictures and probably from other angels.

I don't think that's a chimera. That octopus-like thing is scary though.

I vote not real. It looks to me like someone was having fun with photoshop.
