Bio: As a child, she and other children of her coven were traded to Military Scientists to spare the lives within our coven to which proved useless in the end. We watched our family die before our young eyes, denying reality, closing ourselves to the world, all we had was each other for comfort. That did not last long either. She watched as one by one, her friends died by the DNA Splicing experiments that were tested on each of us. She was the only one left, their special and most prized subject. She spoke no word, obeyed their ways, absorbing the emense pain she had to endure on a daily basis. She had been crossed with various Felid alleles that have recombined with her original DNA structure. She waited and waited for the day to come when she would become free of this place and Karma will favor them all. During her Cryostasis hiatus to be released for the Militarys test run, the facility was bombed in the dead of night, decimating and leveling the facility as bodies layed wasted everywhere. She woke up from her cryostasis chamber opened, untouched, and left completely alone. No evidence to whom has done this, no presence of any entity was left in the shadows.

A facility had been erected to contain vampires that the humans had been captured. It was kept a secret from the public and otherwise was known as area 53. It's location is unknown and anyone from the public would assume that it was a research facility for some sort of new kind of weaponry. The building was outfitted with a state of the art security and it was protected by a commissioned mercenary unit. Very little was known about the group other than their name, The Shadow Brigade. It was rumored that the force consisted of ex members of the most elite military units of the world ranging from the US Military Delta Force, SAS, US Navy Seals, Japan's Special Operations Group, to Task Force 141.

All of the soldiers on the premises wear full body suits of bullet proof carbon fiber material. The primary assault weapon used is the SCAR-H heavy assault rifle outfitted with a flash/noise suppressor. There are 2 watch towers overlooking the area with snipers and heavy machine guns posted. Within the building were numerous soldiers armed with FN-P90 submachine guns. The entire facility is walled in by a fifty foot high fence topped with razor wire. There is a garage containing one Stryker assault/support vehicle. Within the facility vampires were imprisoned and some were having cruel experiments and autopsies being performed on them. All with the goal of finding a weak point, and more information on their origin. The most secure room in the inner sanctum contained their newest and most dangerous prize. In a custom designed cell with a solid wall of foot thick tungsten carbide, this vampire was hooked into a constant stream of sedative to keep her out cold through an IV drip. It would be far too risky to allow her to wake. At least not yet...

Bio: His father was enamored with the human sciences, especially alchemy. Alucard Sr. had always wanted a son, unfortunately his wife was barren and unable to give birth. Using alchemy, Alucard Sr. was able to fix her condition and conceive a son. Before Alucard Jr. was born, the clan discovered Alucard Sr’s use of human alchemy and he was out casted from the clan. His wife would also die in child birth leaving Alucard Jr. an orphan. At a young age Alucard Jr. was a natural alchemist quickly learning from the books his father left behind, keeping his knowledge of alchemy a secret from the clan to avoid being out casted.

Al saw a body half way through a tree. He pulled the body out and recognized the face, it was Lestat, he was unconscious and in pretty bad shape. Al had to make sure no one was around before drawing the alchemy regeneration circles around Lestat. Al healed Lestat and picked him up carrying him deeper into the forest, away from the humans. Al soon came across a group of vampires who were debating what to do next.
“We have to go back to our homes and regroup with our familes.”
“No, we can’t lead the humans to where we live, that will be the death of us all!!”
“So what do you suggest, we stay and fight? Have you seen the weapons they have?’
“We have to do something; they are capturing our friends as we speak!”
The Coven was in complete disarray and desperately in the need of leadership now that Rem was gone.

As the military presence on the highway appeared to retreat another unit was being helicopter dropped in nearby out of visual range. A highly specialized force recon unit had been deployed to investigate the disturbance. It was not known how many were in the unit but it had to be somewhere between five and ten individuals. Those in the unit had a variety of specializations and were fully trained on how to combat vampires. A few had ghillie sniper/recon specialization while others were support gunners, submachine gunners and riflemen. All weapons excluding the support machine guns were equipped with flash/noise suppressors to help keep their position secure should they open fire. They were all wearing full body kevlar and woodland MARPAT camo, even the snipers were under their suits. With the objective of performing reconnaissance to find where the vampires would flee to their secondary objective was to seek out of and destroy them. Thanks to video from a helicopter and a UAV that had been recently deployed in the area the retreat of the vampires could be tracked.

Fanning out into the woods the snipers took point while they ensured that would not be sighted. As soon as a sniper reported sighting a group of vampires the unit moved to form a wide semi circle approaching to surround them. Those at the perimeter scanned outward to protect from potential ambushes, being sure to remain hidden while still being able to aim and fire quickly if necessary.

Leon layed low in the tree, crouched down eyeing the surrounding area. He hid himself in a thinket of leaves and branches, making sure his fur was hidden from view. Leon could see a group of vampires arguing. They seemed to be the more skilled and powerful vampires of the coven. Leon could hear them argue about picking a leader and something about "the blessed one" whatever that ment. Leon didn't have much time to figure out what they were talking about when a sudden scent caught Leon's nose. It smelled of human and it wasn't of that of the faint oders of humans near the highway; No, these scents were closer and they were closing in on the arguing group of vampires. He could hear them silently moving through the forest. Leon only managed to hear them thanks to his keen hearing. He could tell, these were a skilled group of soldiers. Leon had to warn the arguing vampires of the impending attack. Raising his head, he let loss a shrill howl that pierced the night sky.

The soldiers were in a position in which if the group of vampires decided to scatter, it would not be advantageous to them. The snipers had already picked targets and were waiting for the cue to fire. At the sound of the howl the commander of the unit ordered the snipers to fire but for the rest of the unit to remain weapons cold. Instantly and silently, three suppressed Cheytac Intervention sniper rifles fired fifty caliber rounds that lanced through the air, instantly incapacitating three vampires in the group. Now surrounding the group aiming inwards the other soldiers prepared to be approached.

A couple miles east from the battle, Astrid, in the shape of a Red Panda, rested in the hollow of an Oak tree. Her ears perked as unfamiliar sounds bombarded her senses, the howl of a wolf, the disruption of airfow pierced by most likely highly specialized artillary, and the stench of fresh vampire blood staining the earth around them. The disturbance turned the wildlife into mass choas as animals scattered and fled in all directions. A Raven perchd at the entrance of her hollow, puffed up his feathers to display his dominance for the hollow. Astrid opened up one eye, yawning at this meaningless disturbance, she hissed and spat at him, knocking him out of the hollow and onto the ground. Ego hurt, he gathered himself and flew off. Astrid, fully awake now, stretched her body ad climbed out onto a branch pointing in the direction of the battleground. She sighed and quickly shifted into her snow leopard form. Sniffing the air, she found the path to take easily without detection. Leaping to the ground, raking the earth beneath her claws she dashed in haste and arrived in mere minutes. Stopping in her tracks and leaping onto a high Dogwood tree branch, the scent of snipers in the area changed her attitude. Snipers annoyed her. Her ear twitched at the presence of the wolf near by but she didn't put in any effort to focus in on him.

[sorry but the gun shots can not be heard. they were from guns that were equipped with flash/noise suppressors. It would be impossible hear unsuppressed shots from miles away anyway. But if it helped your character get over there I don't mind]

A blood hurtling howl awoke Lestat from his comma. He woke up in time to see three of his friends unsuspectingly fall dead, their brains blown in. The humans are here. Knowing the humans needed night vision to be able to fight in the dark, Lestat grabbed a flash bang, and droped it at his feet, telling the other vampires around him to close their eyes, any humans watching would be blinded.

Lestat takes the opportunity to go on the offensive, “Attack” he shouts as he draws his Katana and quickly slices through two of the humans who were helplessly rubbing their eyes. But no other vampire was attacking humans. Two vampires had failed to close their eyes in time and were temporarily blinded. The other three vampires had taken the opportunity to flee. “What cowards, they’ve successfully killed us all.”

The soldiers opened fire with their assault weapons, killing the 2 dazed vampires. The 3 fleeing fled towards one of the support gunners who fired his weapon: an M-240 machine gun. It was loud and it's muzzle flash lit up the surrounding area, resulting in the vampires to torn to shreds by the hail of 7.62 millimeter rounds. The firing then stops and the commander takes out a bullhorn and says: "We will stop shooting if you all go back to wherever you came from." The remaining vampires in the area were being tracked by a UAV with thermal scanning capabilities. The operator of the UAV noticed something unusual. There were animals in the combat zone that had not fled at the sound of the gunshots as well as the fact that one was a Snow Leopard, not something one would normally find in a forest of this sort. After the commander was notified of this he took action, ordering one of the men to keep his weapon fixed on the leopard in the tree and to fire if he noticed it doing anything suspicious.

Recovering from the flash bang which had unexpectently blinded Leon, he could smell some new scents. One of which caught Leon's attention as that of another animal and turning to where the scent was, he could just make out the image of a Snow Leopard. 'another shape shifter maybe...' is all Leon could think before he noticed the other scent. The scent of human, and it was close; as a matter of fact, it was right below the tree Leon was perched in. Not being able to see the human as his vision was still blurry from the flash bang and the fact that the humans had remarkable camo on made Leon's task of finding him difficult. Luckily he could pick up his location with his scent and hearing. Leaping down, Leon landed on the human, knocking him to the ground.

He clawed at the human and bit into his arm, however this did nothing to the human who pulled out a knife and sank it into Leon's side. The wound wasn't deep however the pain quikly rushed Leon's body before quickly numbing. Having no time to mess around, Leon focused on the one point he could think of that was less protected and that was the human's face. Clawing and biting, Leon managed to tear off the mask the human wore and quickly sank his fangs into the human. The succulent blood flowed into Leon and slowly, his wound began to heal. Leon finished devouring the human, now begone of all life, and studied his wound. It was fully healed. Deciding it was time to move, Leon took off away from the humans deeper into the forest, looking for anyone who might be able to figure out a plan.

Al quickly drew an alchemy symbol in the dirt, and a high wall rose from the ground completly surrounding Lestat and Al. The humans could no longer fire on them, at least for now. He didn't believe for a second the humans would safely let them leave. He needed an escape plan. Lestat couldn't fly them out without getting shot, the only escape was underground. Using alchemy, Al burrowed a tunnel. He suddenly felt very weak, the energy required to initiate these alchemy symbols drains his life energy. He would need to feast on human blood before performing any more alchemy. "Lestat we have to hurry, it won't take long for the humans to scale the wall and follow us through the tunnel."

Lestat was astounded, the rumors must be true, Al was concieved through the human science of alchemy... amazing! "Don't worry, no one will follow us." Lesat planted trip mines at the entrance to the tunnel. They both began sprinting to their newfound freedom, The long dark winding tunnel represtenting the first sign of hope he had seen all night.

Human: A magically enhanced vine whip with thorns along it. It is able to extend in length when necessary and does not easily break.
Bio: Born with the ability to transform into animals only made her life more difficult. She was nearly exiled once people found out of her power. Due to her rejection by the other people she became reluctant to use her abilities but overcomes that and learns to use them anyway. she's a strong-willed girl who refuses to change who she is to match peoples' perceptions of "normal" Eventually she decided to go out on her own. No matter what the others thought she would go on a journey to somewhere... she just didn't know where.
