Absolute Anime

STOP EVERYTHING! I just hear about One Piece coming back to Toonami on Cartoon Network... Now at first I was just like "Oh great! The Dubbie is back!" But I am being told by some friends of mine that it's not suppose to the Cut up dubbed. They were telling me that "Oh it's suppose to be A LOT better! They aren't going to cut it to absolute shreds this time!" ... Honostly, I don't believe them.

All I want to know is: are the new Episodes of One Piece on Toonami suppose to be a better version (Not cut to shreds)? I want a second opinion and that it all! I'm not looking for being flamed *CoughCP9Cough*. Help please!

Knowing CN and Toonami it will be the crappy episodes. I wouldn't keep my hopes high.

I'm scared for one piece! I watched the one piece episode, and it seemed ...a little better, but I don't think it was any better...I just thought it was a bit ...more 'normal' when Luffy called Smoker a pussycat...and I thought he was gonna say..."YOU'RE A PUSSY!"

Now that would of been great if he called him a pussy.

hehe...Um.. don't tell me cuz I recorded it at my dad's and I still haven't watched. (But it's okay! I like hearing about what it'll be like! ^^)

Heh wish I could record the episodes. But since my parents look at the DVR and see everything that's been recorded I don't want to answer questions that they might have. Mostly like "You're 17 and still watch cartoons?" Yes now you guys know my real age.

A) I've known your real age, so not a big surprise.
B) Why would your parent's care? I mean my dad looks at the DVR all the time and I have a MILLION cartoon related things recorded! ^^ Well actually they're all anime, but still!

Parents are parents. And I guess they don't want to see all that anime on the DVR. That's why my friend I save my money and buy my anime on DVD.

It's not, and never will be as long as 4KIDS continues to treat the established fanbase as unimportant. However, with them out of they way (the Toonami episodes were aired in Britain months ago), we'll have to wait for a new company to pick up OP.

No your not. A lot of people feel that way when an anime that they love is nearly killed off with senseless re-dos.
