Inchigo's Dad and the soul society

Ok this whole time watching bleach i've been confused. The soul society is where like deceased souls and the soul reapers stay and apparently they aren't like real people and don't age but rukia and renji were like kids and grew up together. And on top of that Ichigo's dad is/was a soul reaper but how did he come to the real world and had three kids? Was he like a subsitute soul reaper?

Ichigo's father was a shinigami captain. he left when Kisuke and Yoruichi left and resides in a gigai (fake body)

As for how he had kids....maybe it's a special gigai.

there also seems to be some exceptions in soul society such as the noble families can mate and such. (as byakuya was born there)

i just think its so weird and there are so many gaps and stuff that doesn't make sense.

Not neccessarily Aoi! Anime and Manga are very good at keeping people's brains going!
