I hope that Tite Kubo has more planned. This is one of the longest mangas I've seen, other than InuYasha, which was 558 chapters. Let's see if Kubo can beat that!

Kubo probably will exceed 558 chapters considering how he already has written almost 400 chapters but still has two more arcs planned after the current one. Bleach won't be ending anytime soon.

No, no it will not. But doesn't it ever make you wonder what the longest manga series is to this date? Well, chapter wise. So far, the longest one I know is InuYasha. But I'm betting that there's more.

first, Zaraki Kenpachi doesn't have a bankai, it has been said multiple times in the show that Zaraki is the only captain that doesn't have a bankai.

and the anime wont end until the manga does, and that however is coming to a close soon.

It's not ending that I've heard, although the current arc on Adult Swim is giving me a headache. Even in the manga they're still going strong. Lets just hope he (Kubo-san) doesn't off anymore awesome characters. Why can Ichigo be stabbed, beaten and otherwise mangled, but he's fine and some can get just one wound and they're toast? It's discrimination I tell you! LOL

Exactly, Igrayne! It's always the main character that will get beaten practically to death, but them somehow has the most power when he's injured. But if Rukia gets one wound, she's immediately down and won't fight for the rest of the time. The only episode that this doesn't apply is episode 1 when she protects Ichigo from the Hollow. But mainly, secondary characters (other than Kenpachi, Gin, Tousen, and Aizen) are down in one hit.
Back onto the original subject.... Bleach isn't ending anytime soon, as of now. The anime is MUCH longer than the manga, considering they added extra arcs.

Bleach: 439 chapters as of now in Japan (still going).
Naruto: 244 chapters pre time skip 530 after time skip in Japan (still going).
InuYasaha: 558 chapters (ended).
One Piece: 616 chapters in Japan (still going).
Detective Conan: at least 759 chapters (and it's still going).
