That really is true indeed. It's a pity what 4kids has done to great shows like Shaman King, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Tokyo Mew Mew.

Liked the comic. It was funny, that is kinda what 4kids did to Shaman King. They made it sound so serious. Yoh is laid-back, not this "I do things cause its my destiny" guy, he's a "I wanna have fun and slack-off" guy.

i know! *sigh* i love yoh's character in the original version (in fact he is one of my favourite anime characters) but the english version is just soo ~dry

AGREED!
I loved the original version and the manga, shows Yoh more as a laid back/wise/pacifist guy. Not a serious good-Hao-lookalike.
