Re: Beyblade Forumer's Lounge
That could be true. Also, I've been doing some research, and the anime industry is doing as well as it was maybe three years ago. Its like, people don't like anime anymore. And, I''ve noticed distributors have a bad habit of canceleing series. *coughFunimationcough* they canceled G Revolution mid series, and a few other series got canceled like Flint the Time Detective, and other really awesome anime are getting pulled off the shelves like Cardcaptor Sakura, Record of Lodoss War, Descendants of Darkness, and several others.

Re: Beyblade Forumer's Lounge
the g revolution you just said couldn't have been the beyblade one, could it?
I'll tear them limb from limb!
it's not our fault anime isn't as popular, mostly their fault, they won't give us good enough animes!
I think they finished cardcaptor with it's movie when she finally got the last sakura card. I've seen a review.

Re: Beyblade Forumer's Lounge
Yep, thats right. Funimation released volumes 1-6 releasing episodes 1-18 of Beyblade G Revolution, but then they canceled the series on DVD. I totally didn't get that, considering Nelvana had finished dubbing the entire season and had apparently aired it on TV. I'd like to know why they didn't continue the series on DVD, when the whole season was dubbed. It makes me mad. And as for Cardcaptor Sakura, they did finishi it, but they have discontinued distribution, so many stores no longer sell the series. Although, Discount Anime DVD sells some, but they're missing some of the volumes. Right now I've only got three of the DVDs.

I can say this though, I think this forum is better than gaia. An old friend made me join it, and after several months, I left it and never went back. You can't have a decent conversation with anyone there. I don't mean to be offensive, but all the people on gaia who would post in the anime forums were all airheads. They could not hold a decent conversation about an anime at all. At least here, theres people who will actually talk about an anime and not act, I'm sorry, stupid.

I can also say that this is better than the ones I use to go to. Though they can put image siggies but who cares right? what's important is that the people you talk to also gives you a good conversation like the one you're giving.

Re: Beyblade Forumer's Lounge
Honestly, I can agree.
DVD sales and prices of anime have gone way down. (Honestly, I'm not really into anime that much either, anymore. Maybe Saiyuki once in a while, but I think it was just a phase for me.)
Back to DVDs.
I've noticed many stores lowering their prices - Yami no Matsuei / DoD is just 9.99 for one DVD, when it used to be that I'd buy YYH DVDs for 30 dollars. (I actually saw the movie for 15 dollars a week ago. I spend double that when I bought it.)
Dunno why.
But whatever. =/ I'm really picky with my animes anyway, so. Haha.
