This anime is one of my favs.!!! I like it because it's freaky in a mental way, I like the opening and ending theme.

Yume no Shima Shinen Kouen (夢の島思念公園)

There's no official translation of the title, and auto-translators don't get it, so I'll provide what info I can.

"yume" (夢) means "dream"
"no" (の) means "of"
"shime" (島) means "island"
"shinen" (思念) means "thought"
"kouen" (公園) means "park" (like a public park)

I'm suspecting that the words "island", "thought", and "park" together are supposed to be figurative of believing to be "alone in a crowd". What do you think? :-k

I'm not sure. I mean. The only one I don't think applys in that concept is park. I'm most likely mistaken though.

I have Windows XP, so I'm Unicode-enabled. The text I copied from ANN, who has the title in its Kanji form.

As for obtaining a copy of the song, I'm not really at liberty to say (for reasons of legality), but if you know what you're doing, running the name (either its Romaji or Kanji form) through the right channels could point you in the right direction.

Yup, it's Kuroneko, from that scene in episode 1 of Trigun when it's grinning with the guys while Milly and Meryl walk into the saloon. I like the mysterious cat, and I just couldn't resist that toothy grin.
