Ive seen a lot of you clamoring for them, asking for help on where to locate your favorite anime songs. I know of a couple free sites where you can dowload from.

There's http://www.keiichianimeforever.com A good site to find some anime songs. You dont have to sign up, or pay for anything. Although there is basically a 'line'. You have to click on the song you want; at that point usually you will go to a page that says:

Simultaneous Downloads Limit Reached

We have received too many download requests from your IP/host. You may download only one file from our server at a time.

Just know this. That is the line basically. Just go back, and click the song again. Keep doing this until a pop up appears that allows you to download it in zip format. Once downloaded, open the zipped file with the song, and extract it to your music folder.

You might be wondering why I did the (dot) thing. Well you see, gendou does not allow hotlinking. It is a big problem to them.. I once got in trouble just for quoting someone who hotlinked them... so, just know that:

Gendou, is an amazing archive of anime music. All you have to do is register for free, and over a 1000 songs can be yours. Just enter a anime in the search feature, and click on one song from the list that shows up to listen. To download, right click and select 'Save as...' There is no wait, there is no zipped files. It is saved directly wherever you want it to be. Be careful though, as I have said, they're very strict about hotlinking. DO NOT. I repeat, do not hotlink, under any circumstance, or you will be banned from there.

Gendou in my opinion is the best out of all the sites I will mention, but because of some legal rules and regulations, they do not carry songs that show in YuYu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha, etc. If you use gendou, and cant find a song you want, I suggest trying the other sites here.

Next is http://www.dogpile.com

A internet search engine. Like google. It says its the best... but its not. It is good though for finding anime mp3s. Its kinda hard to do so, and sometimes you'll find the wrong thing, but use dogpile as a last resort kinda thing if you want that song that desperately. Although Im sure gendou will have it. Same system with gendou, click to listen, right click and select 'save as...' to download.

Keiichi Anime Forever and Gendou.com are the best sites for anime music that I know of. The problem though for Gendou is that, a couple of the songs they have are very poor in quality that I have come across, especially one there... which I had to get via the internet.. -.-

Regardless, both of those sites are the best.

Nice sites BT just wanted to add that http://www.boxtorrents.com has a huge selection of complete anime OSTs if anyone wants them. They are via bittorrent, so one needs to download a bittorrent program to access the files.

Just type an anime in the search bar. It's not hard to do that.

arggh! I can't decide if I love or hate it! One on the one hand it's free liscensed anime and I really detest that! on the other through I can't find the one I watched in DVD form. Its stil licensed and that makes it wrong! but someone had to buy the DVD it isn't bootlegged...oh gods I just don't know!
