Would I be a good moderator? Round 2

Post by Tri-Edge »

Let me try this again, do you think I'd be a good mod? I'm on more often, I'm making more posts, I'm friendly, easy-going, easy to get along with, you can talk to me about anything. So, am I moderator material?

Oh...dude, no... Amicable try, but you fell short on content. Dude try checking out other moderator applications (except Lexin's, borrow from that and you WANT to fail) and see what they have done that gain people's trust and respect, build on that, and I'm sure you can make a decent run.

My vote, no.

1. You've been here over a year, and still only have 30 posts, and 20 of them are in the RP section. The only other place I've seen you a little active in is the .hack forum. (is there a minimum post rule? I haven't read up on it for awhile)

2. What's with the "Would I be a good moderator"? This is the moderator application forum. You either make an application and submit it here, or just critic the ones that are up.

3. If this is, in fact, the way you hope to make your application, you need to include specific reasons why you'd make a good mod, and things you would do if/when you become one.

4. Also, if this is your application, you formated it wrong. You need to include a poll and your name in the title.

I'm tired, so this is all for now.

*edit: Yeah, what Gio said about looking at other apps too. *takes a nap on you app* Hehe, that rhymes.

I'm not sure that some of you know a good mod candidate when you see them.

Mods aren't here to "try". What they "try" to do is make us say, "yeah, this person has what it takes."

The way you acted in here is proof that you can't be a mod now.

You didn't read the rules and follow the format.
You didn't explain yourself and tell us why YOU should be mod instead of anyone else.
You pretty much insulted us by saying we knew nothing. And, honestly, if you're going to say that, give it some back-up.

Also, you didn't even come in here and change your mod application to what we were saying, or do anything to prove you could be a moderator.

You do realize moderation is kinda like a job, right? If I were an employer, this application would've been thrown out as soon as it was handed to me.

Having an attitude like that only works against you.
