Re: ~Great books~
1.) Darksword Trilogy
2.) Soveriegn Stone Trilogy
3.) The Obsidian Chronicles
4.) Dragonlance (anything with the Twins)
Most of those are written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. I just think that they are great writers. The Dragonlance series (ALL of the many books there are) are just great in my opinion.

I prefer the British Literary Classics...Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, Dracula by Bram Stoker, The Three Musketeers, Twenty Years After, and The Black Tulip, by Alexandre Dumas. I also enjoy novels by Lisa Scottoline.

Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman is possibly one of the best books I've ever read. This book was awesome because at the time, I was learning about Black Civil Rights in History. I gave the book to my History teacher and she loved it as well.
Seriously, I recommend this book. 10/10. =]

I read a book about Jim Morrison awhile back ago, and it was really good. It was called "Strange Days, My Life With And Without Jim Morrison". I'm into biography books for some reason.

I'd be astonished if this hasn't been said yet, but Lord of the Rings. Fantastic trilogy.

If any of you guys like horror books, but King isn't good enough, I hear H.P. Lovecraft is the scariest. From time to time I keep getting customers who say that King isn't scary enough for them. >.> Just thought I would pass on a selection (I work in a bookstore for those of you who don't know). I just finished reading Clarence Thomas' My Grandfather's Son: A Memoir If you're into bio's then I think you will find his book to be inspirational. I found his book to be motivating and uplifting.
Do you guys know of any good books on literary criticism or literary theory?

Re: ~Great books~
Sorry Athos, but I do not.
I just started reading T.H. White's The Once and Future King and so far I've enjoyed it. Speaking of Christmas gifts, Grimm's Fairy Tales are an enlightening read. Well, I find most original fairy tales good, so....
The Three Musketeers is pretty good too- in the middle of that for French class.
For those of you into science fiction, I totally dig and recommend anything by Orson Scott Card. He is amazingness, plain and simple.
