I don't think Yondaime is the leader.. I mean why would he[/] be evil?? he sealed the Kyuubi and he was known to be very kind.. and c'mon people compare him with Naruto! So I think that's just a good photoshop work.

Beside if he's the leader of the Akatsuki then that means that he's after the tailed beasts so why did he seal Kyuubi into Naruto and not just into himself in the first place?

cause they need to extract the demon from the jinchuuriki (spelling's off), and if the person gets the demon taken from them they die. so why the hell would Yondaime seal it in himself?

Ehhm.. sorry to say this but they, Pein and Konan, said that Uchiha Madara was the leader of Akatsuki. He has immortality and is powerful. Plus, he was the one who summoned the Kyuubi in Konoha and Yondaime sacrificed his life to kill it. Which eliminates both theories of Yondaime to be the leader of the Akatsuki, let alone even alive.

I don't think he is. And I agree with Majaro. From the sources that I have seen, Madara is Tobi. Obito is dead. Pein was just taking orders from Madara/Tobi so that Madara/Tobi doesn't get found out by the whole Naruto world. Which obviously didn't work. XD
