What ever happened to Rin?

The last thing I read Rin was alive and it was after the battle at that bridge where Obito died. So whatever happened to her?

But, it's kindda unclear since i remembered Kakashi said to Naruto, "My special friends are dead" or something like that.

like my sister just bought book 27 in the US manga and it told Kakashi's past. but the last thing it showed was Rin looking at the stars, Kakashi and Yondaime looking at her after Obito's death. So WTF happened to her. We need some pointers. I think it would be awesome if she was and she'd get with Kakashi. XD just a random thought though.
