Both Death Note and Detective Conan are animes that involves investigations and crimes...

What do you think is better when it comes to intelligence, investigations, detectives and solving crimes?

Definitely DeathNote. It's mainly because L is super hot and Conan is a little kid but I like the plot of Death Note better. It's ongoing instead of different mysteries. I do like to solve Case Closed cases though. L is hot though! L WINS!

While L is hot, I agree with that, I believe Detective Conan is better. Sure, he is a little kid, but he used to be a teenager, until some criminals fed him a drug that made him small. Detective Conan may have different mysteries, the plot is still pretty much the same, plus I think it is intriguing how the criminals Gin and Vodka, that fed Shinichi the drug, only show up out of the blue, and yet they are considered the main villains of the series. And, Conan/Shinichi is way nicer, having no issues whatsoever. L may have the looks, but he's got issues. Conan at least likes to have fun, as a kid and a teen. This is all just my opinion, I am not expecting anyone to agree with me.

I think on an intellectual level they're equal but L wins because he's solved international cases while conan just covers whatever falls into his lap.

totally right. death note has more mature crimes at hand. and everything there is mystery. no. total creepy mystery.. ^_^

Monster is far superior to both. Far darker and more mysterious than either of them. It also is much more intelligent and you get a much deeper look at both the detective and the serial killer.

Though of these 2 series, Death Note is better
