Hey everyone,
I am new to the world of anime and looking to dive in. I have heard so many great things about different shows and genres but I am not quite sure where to start. I am looking for something with a good mix of action story and character development. I am open to almost anything whether it is a classic series or a hidden gem.....
Can you recommend some must-watch anime that would be great for a newbie like me. Bonus points if the series is not too long or overwhelming for a beginner. Also any tips on what to avoid or which order to watch if it is a series with multiple seasons would be super helpful.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions

Here are a few beginner-friendly series that blend action, story, and character development:
1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood – A top choice with rich storylines and engaging characters. It’s action-packed but has a clear, satisfying ending in 64 episodes.
2. My Hero Academia – Perfect for superhero fans, following young heroes in training. It’s well-paced, with plenty of action and character growth.
3. Death Note – A thriller with a focus on mind games and moral dilemmas. Only 37 episodes, so it’s not too long.
4. Attack on Titan – An intense, story-driven anime with strong character arcs and suspense.
