Samurai Champloo

Post by Bitterling »

I don't know if there was a thread made about this
Anime yet, but w/e. I just want to see everyone's
opinion on this. I personally think it's great [But
not perfect. I still can't grasp the plotline.
@_@], what with the mix of both the modern and
feudal eras. I've only seen up to Ep.17, and have
the last 4ep. in my possesion. But I'm not going to
look at them until I get the insides. Bah.

Hmm--- The way the fighting scenes were formed and
how all of that beatboxing/ rapping/ whatever the
hell [...] comes into play. So lovelie. It merges
like traffic, I tell you.

I only have the first DVD for it. I really like this anime, but I wasn't going to check it out. But when I heard it was made by the people who created Cowboy Bebop and Animatrix, I had to check it out. The music is cool, it goes with the anime, the story plot is a bit strange, what with the whole:

Yes, I'm back. For real this time. I swear it to the high heavens.

Bitterling, please be kind to my eyes and use a larger font in your message body, pretty please.

And I haven't seen Champloo yet but it is in my rental line up.
Stand back! This old Otaku has PMS, a broadsword, a double bladed battle ax, a flail, dagger in her teeth and a pistol in her belt.

No! The spoilers! Oh well, it's my own fault for giving into temptation and scanning...
Sorry if the font bothers you Dark Lilly, so here's Point:10. It's probably not much of a difference,
but I like my font small. It looks neat.

I saw the DVD in Block Busters and was all: "Woah" but no. The first time I saw any ad on Samurai
Champloo was in my Newtype [the art looked nice.] Then I saw that it was just released in Japan.
Meaning I'd either have to wait, or I'd have to find somebody to burn it for me. Which I did--- woo.

Samurai Champloo is awesome! I think the animation and artwork is really good. It's a great anime well worth watching.
Not giving a f*ck since '91.
