~Marionette~

The trembling voice you had never jingled so well.

Your trepidation, your anxieties were frozen inside of your well of reveries.

The ears which belonged to you and you only, never heeded to my utters.

The words spoken by your tongue never influenced well.

I am but a marionette, a pawn, who grasps nothing of this tedious world.

I am but a pseudo, a mindless being who saunters over gold, without appraisal.

Salvage me and perhaps, I can be worthwhile. Only then, will I absorb your lexis, and yearn to expand my mind and to be a boundless piece of art.

"Rain never tasted so sweet." you murmured, as bloody teardrops stumbled upon your tongue.

"Avenge my death." you pleaded with your last words, as I stood before you with bloody hands.

And you expired, and the world came tumbling down.

The Willow Tree Spoke to Me

The hollow tree whispered disease
Willow was her name she said
All the hope inside her ceased
The anger in her heart was fed
My companions have all left me
Were the words carried by the wind
All I've left is hatred you see
Oh, the humans have all sinned
I let her be in the cold, hostile weather
Snow was starting to cover the hill
Her soul blew away like a feather
The hunt has begun...They're in for the kill
I let her go and left the tree hollow
Yet I did not allow her secrets to follow....

Tomorrow was Today

I woke up tomorrow, knowing I missed today.
I looked at my hands, and my skin looked grey.
I touched my hair, and felt it dull.
I looked at my legs and saw my veins,
And thousands of little brown spots.
I looked in my mind, and saw nothing.
Only memories from tomorrow falling.
I looked in my heart, and found it broken.
And saw the life in there, frozen.

I opened my eyes, and it was today.
And tomorrow was a day away.
I looked at my hands, and my skin full of life!
I touched my hair, and felt it silk.
I looked at my legs and they looked smooth,
They were as strong as a tree's roots.
I finally smiled as I found in my mind,
The bittersweet memories of my time.
I closed my eyes, as I lied in my bed.
Only to find, what age has my head.

Then Is Gone

It's too late my beloved one, then is gone.
It's not your fault though, I'll be ok.
But you know what the sad thing is?
You were never even really there.
And I tried so hard to grab your hand...
But you kept falling...with that stare.
And you knew I saw right through you,
When the world got in your way.
Your voice was so small and faded,
And so I hid in here jaded.
But it's over now, so I'll be ok,
And I still love you anyway.
Now, all I wonder about is,
The point in all that screaming,
Because you weren't listening anyway.
I'm sorry but then is gone,
The only thing we have is now.

They're horrible though. Horrible grammer, and I probabely have a few spelling mistakes...but too lazy to check.

Took me a while to find them (except for Marionette and The Willow Tree Spoke to Me.... I had previously posted them on the forum, lol)
God they're cra**y. Lol. Oh well, I was young and....mad. But.... I'm still mad....and young.....lol....nevermind.

When it comes to poetry, grammatical errors are to be overlooked. A person poetic work should not be judged by "Oh! She forgot to add a period!!!" All that really counts is the effort, emotions, and meaning inputed into the poem. Great stuff Anner.
