Alucard (or "Dracula" spelled backwards) is the long lost son of the Count. He is half human, half vampire, as his mother was a mortal. Although he served his father, he was soon convinced that spreading his father's evil was wrong.Alucard is also known as Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes.

Not only is Alucard Dracula backwards, but his past and age are the same as Dracula's, which in fact means he is Dracula

In both the manga and the anime, there are references to him being Dracula and/or Vlad III the Impaler. And in vol. 8 of the manga, after his power restrictions were released to level 0, he said ". . .I am the devil, Dracula!"
