your recomending Host club for a anime fan who isnt a fan of even 1 shojo series? (by the looks of it hes not)

im a major host club fan as well, but i just dont thing he'd be interested in it

i have to agree with Baka, OHSHC doesnt look like YIN would be interested in it.

any anime where a guy pretends to be a girl or a girl pretends to be a guy isnt really my style either

You can't suggest one Gundam without suggesting the others. If you like them dead serious try Gundam 0080 War in the Pocket, Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory and Gundam 08th MS Team.
I suggest those as they're OVAs being the shortest of the Gundam series other than the 2 movies Gundam Char's Counterattack and Gundam F91.

I would recommend Legend of Galactic Heroes, but sadly not many fans have picked up on this masterpiece as it's over 15 years old now and runs 110 episodes. But it's one of the best damn anime series I've ever seen!
