I have here the Naruto characters names in English (like this: Naruto Uzumaki) and in kanji (like this: うずまきナルト). I found them on http://www.wikipedia.org. There was an article about Naruto!!! YAY!!! I know, it sucks. They also didn't have Akamaru, Tazuna, Inari, Tsunami, Gato, Kaiza, Ebisu, Giichi, Fourth Hokage, etc.

They don't have anybody from the sound other then Orochimaru, Kabuto or anybody Akatsuki either. Other then that still pretty cool.

Well when you use AA, it reads Japanese without having to look like shapes.

I am extremely curious as to why the majority of those names are written in katakana, and not hiragana. The former is, if I recall correctly, reserved only for "foreign" words, and I'm pretty sure those are all Japanese names.

Good question. I'm not really sure to be honest with you. Maybe Masashi Kishimoto was the one who wanted to look like that himself?
