Aren't you two good examples of a forum member.
Stop killing this application and flamming as you're not helping to improve it or anything. If you got something to gripe about that doesn't involve the subject of this thread, please do take it somewhere else.

what...i asked a question. and beside's ,this is elec trix's application and he does'nt seem to have a problem. i voted yes cuz i would like a layed back mod. as long as he does the job then thing's will be fine.(i don't like the mod's who take there position a little to seriously - i will not mention who im referring to.) sorry for flamming

Re: My Moderator Application: The Phoenix/Elec Trix
Vash-san answered your question though. But yes, users can vote. If the community clicks well with you and they support you, your chances of being a Mod will go over much better.
I think it's good to have someone you know and are comfortable with watching over you than some stranger for the most part. You never know what may happen, heh.
I have no problems of wanting someone laid back; just as long as it doesn't interfere with their job.

Wow, I am sat here wondering why you havent yet realised that this topic no longer has a point. It WAS an application, but now we are discussing pointless, useless things, and the only ones on topic are a few mods and Ryukon. (Good man.)
Thanks to this little detour, I would say that this application has a less than 1% chance of success and would advise asking for it moved.

Agreed, Electrix hasn't given much informative response to this thread in quite awhile anyway. If she is really determined to take position as moderator then she shouldn't have a problem taking our advice to heart.
In short, the application simply didn't give enough information and its format wasn't correct. In addition saying things like....
The recent detour (as Absolute Kai said) only pronounces the problems shown above. If you are serious about your potential position, then next time you submit an application try and take the advice of those who are here for you. Read the apps of recently accepted mods. Read the FAQ and mod sticky.
Good luck.

...really shows that you aren't that concerned about how people vote on your application. As Ryukon said, it shows a lack of confidence. Why not try and convince those who responded negatively why you would be appropriate for the position?Electrix wrote:If you would like to vote for me if you don't oh well for me

A very well put-forward point. If I were you, I would try again in a month or so, Electrix.
