If you plan to read the entire series of what you are buying then buy all of the volumes of that series that are currently on the shelf. I know it is really a lot and people will probably stare at you when they see you carrying that many books but it's better because it's very frustrating when every time you check the store for the next volume you need it isn't there because someone else bought it. That's just what I do and it works for me.

Purchase your manga online, amazon has better deals most of the time. This way you can buy what you want and not be broke. I would not purchase the whole series unless you enjoy it.

im so poor...this tread make me sad....im so poor...

but any way's, i usually only buy 1 vol at a time because it bring's out such a suspence! what'll happen next? and that way if you end up not liking that serie's after a while then you would'nt waist your money. \:D/

That's why I get as much info as possible about the series beforehand. :D Or, I buy the manga of series where I've seen the anime already.

I usually buy the first volume of the manga and if it grabbed me, then I go for the rest of the volumes. I spend way too much money on anime and manga stuff but I like it. Most of my budget goes to such stuff. There are some mangas that I don't like from the beginning, so I don't continue buying the other volumes.

You should decided yourself whether you like this manga or not and whether it is worth it to get all the other volumes.

I do that all the time, but if there's one thing I've learned it's to buy the 1st Manga and see if you even like it. If you do, go back and buy the 2nd and third one. And try to finish a series before starting another one. :heh: I always start a new series right in the middle of a different one and I end up leaving off and not getting back to it for a LONG time.

I usually get the 1st and second at a time. I'm always scared that it will leave off on a cliffhanger or Ill just want to know more about the story.

That seems really sensible, Black-Harmonia. But what if you don't like the first one and feel that the second one will be just as bad?

yea, amazon or any other selling website would work.
for bookstores... if they only have one copy of each book, probally getting several of them at a time (maybe not ALL though) might be best, unless u plan on using amazon. u can also check other stores (maybe)
What i do, i just start off with one volume from a store, getting the other books from amazon if i cant go to a bookstore
Fall down seven times, stand up eight.
