My Moderator Application: Kuragari

-A while back, a few people suggested that I try to become a Moderator. Well, here we are now.. I usually come on this site everyday, and normally will be on for hours on end. My lenth of time for being on this site is.. almost a year now. I'm well above the age of thirteen, currently age eighteen, and will be nineteen at the end of this month (the 31st). I am aware that being a mod equals a job, and I am fully capable of handling such a job.

-Helping people out is what I mostly do here anyway(through PM's and the chat), wether it be a question with the site or something emotional. Id like to do my part for AA my helping the current mods to their job. Also, since I frequent the chat, I could help some there, too.

-I get along well with most of the people here, and will try to see that people get along with others as well.

-Being older than some, I try to set a decent example in the forums.

-I don't mind criticism, as long as its constructive, and not spam/trolling. Please vote and leave a reason for your decision.

Your App is superb. I know you well, and you have been here for a long time. I think you would be a fantastic moderator, you have my vote!

I think you are a very sweet person, with good intentions. But not only does it take nicesness and good qualites, but you have to have wit and a strong emotinal power as well. I do belive, and this is without offense, that you lack some of those qualites. I don't want to mis curage you. Hopefully, if you can strengthen yourself in certain areas, you will become a fantastic moderator.

Because, as a moderator, myself. I have seen the worst of the worst. And sometimes what people say hurts. I dont want people hurting such a mice guy as you. You should be treated as you treat others.

And while the webmaster seeks that you tell your age, I believe that maturity comes with experience and knowlowdge. Not saying you aren't mature, but this job respects a certain kind of maturity and I don't know if you fully understand that.

Anyway, my vote is NO OPINION for now. You seem polite and intelligent from what I've seen but based on your behavior and application nothing really jumps out that gives the impression that you'll be a great or excellent moderator. Basically what do you bring to the table that would make me choose you over others applying for moderator? What separates you from them and makes you unique and most qualified out of everyone else for the moderator position?

I voted yes, from the time I've been here, 1 month about, Kura has been very friendly and funny, XD, and i always see him in the chat and i should know cause I'm in the chat everyday, for ages. I also believe we need more mods in the chat, cause there are some people that still disregard the rules. I think that Kura would be able to deal with harsh criticism's calmly, but fairly.

I vote yes for Kura because he is kind and respectful and follows the rules and I think he could keep the nonrespectful members of AA in check. Iv been here awhile and I've seen some mods that don't do there job at all or dont do it well. I think Kura could be a successful mod. He is well liked and that may enable him to be respected. Sometimes that quality backfires on you but I don't think it will on Kura. He enforced the rules even though currently he lacks a title. I think with the title he'll be able to enforce them even more.
