¬¬ Skillet, please dont overexaggerate. the voice acting isnt that bad. MVM anime doesnt tend to have terrible voice acting. MVM and Geneon tend to have the best english VA's, from all the anime i've seen so far. dont get me wrong, i still prefer the jap dubbing, but the english isnt that bad.

i rather liked the english dub also. in the japanese shows, Yuki's voice actually IS a girl's voice and tohru's voice is very high pitched. but I still watch the japanese version and LOVE it still.
the english dub isn't that bad.

I found the voice acting for the dubbed version perfectly fine, I admit they wernt the absolute greatest voice actors in the known universe BUT compared to others I have heard, they were great.

I especially love Ayames (fave character besides Hatori), couldnt stand it first time I heard it but after like two or three play throughs of episode 14 I just knew it was the perfect voice for him. Ayame is meant to be an older version of Yuki, Tohru even says he is like Yuki, so of course he is meant to be the 'elder prince' and thus the voice suits him.

I really couldnt picture anyone better to be the dubbed voices, they are all perfect in my opinion.

Another thing I like about the dub is that they actually took the TIME to get voice actors, I know it wasnt an anime that went to T.V but still it is so much nicer hearing original english voice actors then the repeats we get. I dont know about you but the Digimon voice actors/Brock/other Pokemon voice actors etc are all getting far to boring to listen to, it is what made me dislike the english dub of Wolfs Rain, all the four lead male wolves are Digimon voice actors...

I like the fresh new voice actors ALOT better then the ones they like to use over and over and over again.

I think Laurie Bailey's (Tohru) voice may end up being overused soon . . .
Wait, the foru wolves from Wolf's Rain were voiced from actors that had been in Digimon? I thought it was just Toboe's and Hige's voice actors . . .

The voice of Tsume is also a Dijimon voice actor, admitedly im not sure about the other but im positive that VA has been used in some TV anime, it sounds so familure so I thought it was a VA for Digimon like the others.

And yes, I can see Laurie being overused also now, well once the anime guys start realising how sweet she is at playing Tohru, she will easily be picked up for other sweet female characters.

Rather sad really, its times like these I wish they could pick originals...Surely there are alot of Voice Actors out there who are good enough and need jobs instead of overusing ones like Laurie whos 'new' (to a degree).

She won't be so new anymore. It seems like she's on almost everything that came out of Funimation.

When I bought the dub, I was thinking "ohman, I bet they wimped out Kyo's voice majorly! Oh please don't let it be too bad..."
But I was pleasantly surprised in that I was perfectly okay with it! In all reality, it could have been much, much worse.
I liked it, personally. Except for maybe Tohru...
