real life pirates or real life ninja's?
in real life Pirates are over whelming in fire-power and numbers... take into account Chinese, Caribean, United States, British, french, and even Japanese pirates. do you honestly believe a few hundred (at most) well trained people could take on multiple Fleet's of pirate vessels?

as well, Historically The tokugawa and the Oda could easily assult a ninja village (Koga or Iga) just because of rifles and and mass numbers of them.
Ninja's with powers from Naruto could easily take on a pirate vessel. (rasengan boat while under water, Huge ass streangth, shadow clones and all that could easily own normal pirates)

but ninja's do have 1 advantage. they are inner of the island. so vessels would be hard pressed so that would require transport of supplies and the invasion of Japan. (samurai and imperialist forces depending on the time would be fighting back as well).

and lastly Ninja's most likely are better fed and better trained so they have better skill and better nutrition.

but that's just a realist perspective...

And pirates with powers from One Piece would make the Naruto ninjas bloodstains on the ground. They are far superior in every possible way ranging from speed to destructive power when compared to Naruto ninjas

unfortunately i think most people here (this forum) have watched one peice the 4kids "revision" so of course they would go to the Naruto side because of the moderate censorship editing (blood, cursing, homosexuality)...luckily YTV doesn't edit most of that out lol
