Volume 16 of Fruits Basket in the U.S. was focusing mainly on Kyoko's, Tohru's mom, past story.

I loved Kyoko's past story the best. It was so nice knowing how she met her husband and Tohru's dad but it was so sad too. It was so touching to see how her husband changed her to be a good woman. Whenever I remember that he died, I become a bit sad.

My friend thought that it was about Arisa and Kureno because she only looked at the pitcures. Kyoko's parents were so messed up.

no, mine wasn't messed up.. XD
i just asked what happened so i could say what i thought of this volume becuase i didn't know if the numbers of the volumes are the same here and there... but it's the same thing.. ^^

well, i thought the history of Kyoko and Katsuya was cute.. ^^' I liked the new year's party too.. hahaha it was so funny what Aya said to Yuki.. XDDD
And I loved hatori's gloves! XD

I thought one of the sweetest parts was when Kyoko heard a child talking to their mother and then she ran back home. When opened the door, there was sleepy little Tohru. ^^ Then she looked up and said, "Welcome home." Soooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute~!

I loved that too!
But I still liked the chapter about Machi best.
Who knew she actually had a personality?
And a sweet one at that?
