? Oh ok! In America, we have a different set up of grades. We have a preschool (why? XD I never went) then kindergarten (again, why?) then elementary schools 1-4, middle school 5-8 (that's right, 4 years) and then 4 years of high school so I got reallly confused when I found out about Japan only have three years.
So you are probably 2 years older than me then. I am a junior (2nd year of high school) but I'm a year younger than everyone)
Damn it RIn! you see, you are older than me too!

I'm 16 too.
I'm turning 17 on november.
I'm in the 3rd grade on high school because I skipped 1 year when I was younger...
I was actually supposed to be on the 2nd grade on high school and just finish school next year.

Grade 13 is optional. It is there for people to take in order to perform any prerequiste classes needed for certain college classes that they don't already have.
