not that we haven't established this, but it does come off the Rin has a crush on kohaku. she's a little kid though, please remember, probalby about two years younger then Kohaku. she is looking more for freinds, i believe, then understanding anything about love (i mean...look at her company and tell me she's educated in those mannerisms).
