Starwind is right in saying that most dubs these days are very well done, but he acts like an [censored]. Not all dub fans are like that, but you sub fanatic need to stop thinking you're better than us and realize that many people these days like dubs. There's more than just 4Kids you know. Of course, you wouuldn't know that because you rely on Bitorrent for everything and never buy one DVD. I don't like people like that.

I don't think I'm better than you. Though I've mostly seen subs, there are some good dubs I guess--like Excel Saga and Haibane Renmei. There are some animes that I've only seen in dubs so I can't compare whether or not if they're better than the subbed version.

Let me enlighten you all on how I became oblivious, for lack of a better word, to the subs:

I watched, at first, Mononoke hime in english with the Japanese subs... conversations where there should not be aside, this was close considering making the translation work in English. They do more explaining of points than I like, as I am not an idiot and don't need those things explained. That was fine; then I watch YYH w/ subs and english, and I found that they've changed the characters around, eg. yusuke is made out to be quite the idiot in english in parts where he understands exactly what is happening in the subs, he is suprised in the dub. Hiea is made to me more of a 'buddy, buddy' type character in the dub, he is much more brazen in the sub. I won't mention what pioneer did to DBZ, because I'm sure many of you know what happened.

Just to be fair, they have 'uncut' dubs also. As for dubs, whoever does Gundam does a good job

no he said ALL subbed anime are uncut he never said ALL dubbed anime was uncut. Hes right lots of dubs ARE cut to the point of true annoyance SOME arent cut and there are uncut dubbed DVDs and your degrading dub fans with your attacks on subbed fans
