Would someone please answer my question? Especially Atomosk because he apparently knows a lot about Kakashi. Does he ever die? I heard he fought with Itachi but I don't know if he only got badly injured or something.

as far as i've read, no, kakashi doesn't die. he does get his ass kicked by itachi's mangekyou sharingan. it put kakshi in a state of extreme torture for an instant, though it felt like days.

so far Kakashi doesnt die. He almost dies from Itachi but that it all i can think of.

keep in mind this is waaaaaay later in the show
