J.KUDO WROTE:
and it's not because of hellsing that he cant die, he's a level byond ordinary vampires, one of the "Originals" or "No-Life-Kings", these vampires are already dead, and thus, if enough blood remains to re-build their forms they can revive as if nothign happened, in the last 2 episodes (Spoiler) he used the blood form the massacre at the tower of london as fuel for this reaction, in addition to his own blood, since the blessed amunition vaporised a good amount of his blood (Whith btw is what he is esentially made of)

good point

From what I've gathered, it was a traitor in the Round Table who had betrayed Sir Integra.

Okay, there was a lot spoken about Alucard and Sir Integra, but next to nothing about Seras Victoria, who I find is one of the more facination characters, aside from Paladin Alexander Anderson.

Seras Victoria's father was a constaple in the London police. I think he died earlier in life, so Seras became a constaple herself. She eventially became of the eliet D-11 squad (a sort of S.W.A.T. team, I think). A lot of her fellow D-11 operatives made her sort of the mascot of the unit, calling her "Kitten".

All this changed when Seras' squad was dispatched to the villiage of Cheddar, to follow up on an attempt to arrest an unusual vicar, who turned out to be a freak (artificial vampire). Her entire squad was turned to ghouls by this freak, or by the ghouls of the police that tried to arrest the freak in the first place.

Alone and frightened, Seras ran to the local church, for which she was captured by the freak vicar. Because Seras was still a virgin, the freak planned to turn her into a vampire. However, Alucard had came to the church to destroy the freak. Alucard, though, had to go through a gauntlet of Seras' former collegues, for which he destroyed with his .454 Casull gun. But when he aimed his gun at the vicar, he used Seras as a human shield. Alucard then told Seras that he was going to fire his gun anyway, knowing it would rip through her right lung before killing the freak. He then asked Seras if she wanted to come with him, since he knew she didn't want to die that night. She agreed, Alucard shot, and the freak was dead. He then drank Seras' blood, making her a vampire under his care.

Seras had a lot of getting used to being a vampire. The biggest thing she had to go through is the drinking of blood, which was supplied to in transfusion bags. At first she refused, but later relented.

If anyone as anymore to add, please do.

First i would like to say that from what i've seen so far, Hellsing is great!!!

Also, i just read the first manga from it and there was one thing to add to your explanation BigKwell. It's a minor detail, but anyway. . . The vicar wasn't going to turn Ceras into a vampire, he asked her if she was a virgin and then said he was going to rape her and turn her into a ghoul. Nice guy eh? (for those of you who didn't notice, that last part was sarcastic)

Maybe it's different in the tv version, but unfortunately it's not on here and i haven't seen the dvd's to buy. I'll just have to keep looking. . .

Episode 1-6 is based pretty much on the manga. 7 to 13 is just random stuff. Can't wait for the OVA to come out this year.

P.S. Good to see you Sango.
