Absolute Anime

Kanji appears after you form the word in hiragana. When you hit the space key, it'll convert to the kanji that the computer thinks is the right one that you want, but it will keep the word highlighted in case if it's not. For this, you simply press the up arrow key and scroll through till you find the one you want.

Dun spell out English words in Hiragana. It's not going to work and it'll look funny.

Hiragana isn't the system that uses English letters, but roomaji does. If you want to type in proper hiragana then you'll have to type out on your key board in roomaji since the keys are in roman letters. But when your settings is in hiragana mode, the computer will change everything to hiragana and/or kanji after you type it out.
