Haruhi has a lot of meanings... if you posted some kanji we could tell you what it means easier...
but I'll give you an example:
Haruhi= spring day (春日)

Seiran (another joke. It means blue orchid or green orchid. It depends if you look at it the Chinese way of the Japanese way
