Yeah he's a cutie. But some things he does and says annoy me. Like when he tried to sacrifice Yoh in the Gate of Babylon episode. I understand he was really devoted to the X-Laws but Yoh was always nothing but kind to him and I think he should have stayed loyal to him. But I guess its okay cause he kinda redeems himself later on ^_^

I LOVE LYSERG! Not my all time fav but I love him...Ok the anime version of him wasn't so great (too annoying at times and naive, reminded me of a religious freak or a Marco wanna be), but I simply adore the manga version (though he does a few more demeaning moments).
Actually I HATE HATE HATE the X-Laws in the anime, but they turn out much better in the manga.
Heck, Jeanne is actually pretty cool and Marco becomes a better guy, believe it or not....Oh and the real identity of the angels kinda shocked me, i would never have guessed.

yeah but things turn out differently and the X Laws themselves change....
Actually they all die except Marco and Jeanne and the truth about the angels, the X Laws and Jeanne is discovered, they join Yoh's side, ect, ect, ect

But I must admit Lyserg is really cool in the last chapters of the manga.
