well ive seen it and read it so i know for a fact that...........
Gaara is dead but is going to be revived by Chio-neesan(The old Sand village woman) and She is going to die for the sake of Gaara

Lol, don't worry. Gaara does die, but his grandmother brings him back to life! He can sleep now that Shukaku is out of him, and he still has control over the sand too!

yeah, gaara is not dead in the end, in fact he become kazukage sama in the sand country ,critism me if i make a wrong spell.
