The Neon Genesis Evangelion project was one of the revolutionary projects of the 90's, but the storyline and cast a recipe for disaster (from depressive characters to an abusive and confusing storyline) however it worked out brilliantly and brought a whole new view on anime.
The budget for Evangelion was also extremally tight and therefore thanks to this anime a whole new array of economizing techniques were born (like placing the characters hands in front of their mouths to save money on dialoge movement), however upon it's release the and despite it's unexpected success the budget was still extremally tight not allowing the scheduled ending, leaving it imcomplete just as the manga.
However you may have seen the end of the main series instead of the uncut japanese version which was incomplete. And checked this time

However we are getting waaaaaaaaay off-topic so back to the main issue *points at thread title*

Where are you getting this crap from? I own the entire series plus all the movies... The movies are what completes them, it even says so in my platinum box set..

Seriously? Then the video interviews I have with the cast, director, writters and producers must be worthless, huh?
And the manga is incomplete, ever tried actually reading it?

Anyway, I don't wanna go into debate in this thread 'cause we are spaming.
Back to topic- now.

You still failed to provide substantial evidence to your claim. Show me in a pm if you think spam is so bad..

In this case spam is bad, thread is about non-gundam mecha manga, not about our own Evangelion discussion.

And I don't think I'm better, neither am I claiming that you are wrong, k? And I know nothing, zeron, nada about the english version, I saw only the japanese version and the material I have is refering to that, the japanese version had another season to it that was never finished and therefore I can only assume that it never got dubbed. This was before the movies therefore I don't know what to tell you, hon. Anyway, I'm not gonna respond to this any more 'cause this really is excessive spam.

Spam is great isn't it?

Hmm, I would also recommend Rahxephon, although it did remind me of Neon Genesis but in some cases it was better than Eva. Music kicks ass as well(in the anime)!

-_- Or not...

Yes, Rah-Xephon is AWSOME! And the animes' sound track is pretty cool.
However I do prefer the manga, it's way better than the anime and less confusing in some aspects.
