First off, i agree with Biki and Poke and i understand where the mods are coming from, but the underlying conflict between the users and the mods that resulted in the locking of the 'what you look like thread' was the fact that some mods were being hypocrites. However, we've all come to realise our wrongdoings and i hope that there would be changes made in order for a more peaceful AA to begin.
I dont think there needs to be apologies from either party, both just need to do what they gotta do, in the end its all harmless fun.
any other thoughts?

I think that this recent spate of moderator impeachment (for which I've been absent) is ridiculous; completely misguided, inarticulate, idiotic criticisms.
The wrong mods are being criticised for the wrong things by stupid people.
Nobody cares. Non issue.

No, there is nothing with stating an opinion. Though, there should be some evidence to support your claims.
And I agree with what Locke said.

No mods are hypocrites crazy talk and if that is a reference to me and you just didnt want to say my name, your definatly mistaken. Well its better clear its a reference to me acatully.
I do not owe a single apology. I was going to repeat what locke said but it seems better the first time.

In your statement (supra), yes.

Indeed, Locke says it best. XD I believe that no mod needs to apologize; I don't see anything that has been wronged, until proven otherwise.

yes and no, Dret, if i was referring soley to you, i woulda said, but you were one of the mods that i was referring to that does their job, most times.
Locke, you said you didnt know what the freaking conflict was and that you were absent in the midst of it, yet you think you know it all, get over yourself.
Who freaking gives a stuff about grammar, having great grammar on here doesnt make you anymore smarter than the next person, it just points out that you spend more time perfecting your post when theres no need.
In addition, i stated quite clearly that there needs to be no apologies, i contested Quinn's statement about giving apologies, so yeah.
This is why there is division, because you mods think you're all that and put other people's opinions down and call us idiotics for stating the truth! and when we, the people, retaliate in the same manner, we get served with a warning or have threads locked. Just a tad bias dont you think?

I was absent at the time catalytic aspects of this conflict occurred, but I've read over them and I understand.
I was the first person ever on this site to criticise moderators, I understand that there are problems.

I said that because I actually screwed up my grammar.

We think we are all that? Mods are normal users, just with a little bit of responsibility. Do not think for even the smallest amount of time that it is easy.

Stop pointing fingers all the time seriously sheesh. If something is a mistake, meaning the webmaster or other mods do not agree with it it is usually corrected, if you see something as a mistake why not approach that mod via pm to talk about it? But of course acting sensibly is out of the question because all it appears that anyone can do is point fingers, people are people no matter what title they happen to have and if you think that they are acting incorrectly then report them as you would any other user, we're really no different other than anyone else here especially when it comes to following the rules. Seriously all this fighting and finger pointing needs to stop because all we're managing to do is sound like a bunch of pre-schoolers who have yet to have their afternoon nap. Arguing for the sake of arguing isn't gonna help anyone out, it doesn't matter who's right, and it doesn't matter who's wrong, move on nobody dies from a scraped knee.

Look i was just pissed because in the case of Dret., in the 'what you look like thread', he was being a hyporcrite or not following what you mods preach which is 'stop with the spamming', and other issues, but yeah you guys just act as if you did nothing wrong by not admitting to it, thats all.
But hey, i think everyone's over it. So lets just get on with it all ay.

Woah.. Lots happened during my exile.. Interesting.
M'k.. where to start..
I've realised I've made my fair share of mistakes, and have been publicly .. well down right humiliated. It's not fun.
One user in particular.. was always on my case, but he had taken the wrong approach, then one day him and I sat in chat and discussed things, now we're pretty good friends. (least I think so)
Well I'm drifting on and off topic here, so stay with me.
The moderators, like whoever said, (forget who. Sorry.
) if one of us makes a bad decision, the whole team gets blamed, and it reflects on us.. Good decision.. completely unnoticed.
And as Dretlin said, (I think.. it's 6 AM leave me alone) We're just normal users, with responsibility.
I'm willing to communicate with anybody on here, they just have to choose to contact me somehow.
If you PM me about a mistake you think I've made, I'll consider changing it, unless I think I've done right on my part. --You guys think that.. we don't need help.
We do.
We ask for help from other moderators all the time, and in a round about way, yours too.
Ehhhh I think I've stated my point.. not fluently.. but still. I'm half asleep

It annoys me when mods lock threads that didn't break any rules at all, but leave threads that break tons of rules alone.
